ClipSnitch

Terms of Service

Effective 22 October 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of ClipSnitch, operated by Mahad Asif. By creating an account or using ClipSnitch, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

ClipSnitch helps creators turn their long-form videos into short vertical clips with captions. You can edit clips in ClipSnitch, download them, and, if you connect a YouTube channel, TikTok account, Instagram account or LinkedIn profile, publish them there when you choose to.

Clip suggestions are generated automatically and may not always suit your needs. Please review clips before downloading or publishing them.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use ClipSnitch, and meet any age requirements of the platforms you connect.
  • Please provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including content published to accounts you connect.
  • If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact hello@clipsnitch.com.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos you upload and of the clips created from them. You give ClipSnitch a limited permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to provide the service to you, including publishing a clip to YouTube or TikTok when you ask. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

Please upload or link to only content that you own or are authorised to use. By uploading a video or pasting a link, you confirm that you have the necessary rights to it — including to any music, footage or people that appear in it — and that processing and publishing it will not violate any law or the rights of others.

4. Acceptable use

When using ClipSnitch, please do not:

  • Upload or publish content you are not authorised to use.
  • Create or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation, or create misleading content about a real person.
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems.
  • Resell or provide the service to others without our written permission.

If you believe content processed or published with ClipSnitch infringes your copyright or other rights, email hello@clipsnitch.com with a link to or description of the content, the work or right you believe is infringed, and how we can contact you. We will review each report, remove or disable access to content where appropriate, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

5. YouTube

ClipSnitch's publishing feature uses YouTube API Services. By using ClipSnitch to publish to YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Content you publish to YouTube must comply with YouTube's policies. You can revoke ClipSnitch's access to your Google account at any time through the Google security settings page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

6. TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn

ClipSnitch's publishing feature uses TikTok's developer services. By using ClipSnitch to post to TikTok, you agree to comply with the TikTok Terms of Service and TikTok's Community Guidelines. When you post, you also agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation and, for branded content, TikTok's Branded Content Policy.

You are responsible for accurately disclosing promotional or branded content. You can disconnect TikTok from Settings in ClipSnitch at any time, or remove ClipSnitch from the apps connected to your TikTok account.

ClipSnitch can also post clips as Reels to an Instagram professional account through Meta's Instagram API. By using ClipSnitch to post to Instagram, you agree to comply with the Instagram Terms of Use and Instagram's Community Guidelines. You can disconnect Instagram from Settings in ClipSnitch at any time, and remove ClipSnitch from your account in Instagram's settings.

ClipSnitch can also post clips as videos to your LinkedIn profile through LinkedIn's API. By using ClipSnitch to post to LinkedIn, you agree to comply with the LinkedIn User Agreement and LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies. A LinkedIn connection lasts 60 days; you can reconnect at any time, and disconnect LinkedIn from Settings in ClipSnitch or remove ClipSnitch in LinkedIn's settings.

7. Third-party platforms

Publishing depends on the services and policies of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn, which may change, limit or remove features, or decide how published content is displayed. ClipSnitch is not responsible for the availability of those platforms or for decisions they make about your content or account.

8. No affiliation

ClipSnitch is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Google, TikTok, Instagram, Meta or LinkedIn. YouTube, Google, TikTok, Instagram, Meta and LinkedIn are trademarks of their respective owners.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep ClipSnitch reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or discontinue features from time to time. We recommend keeping your own copies of important files.

10. Disclaimers

ClipSnitch is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClipSnitch will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Plans, payments and refunds

ClipSnitch has a Free plan and paid plans. Each plan includes a number of minutes of uploaded video per month, shown with its price on our Pricing page. Prices are in US dollars.

  • Minutes are counted from the length of each video you upload, rounded up to the next whole minute. They are set aside when you upload a video and returned if processing fails, is cancelled or produces no clips.
  • Your plan's unused minutes do not carry over to the next period. A video longer than the minutes you have left cannot be uploaded until you add minutes, upgrade, or your minutes reset.
  • On a paid plan you can buy minute packs: a one-time purchase of extra minutes at the price shown when you buy. Minutes from a pack are valid for 12 months from purchase and are used only after your plan's minutes for the period. They keep working if your plan later changes or ends, but buying more needs a paid plan. Packs do not renew, and any minutes left when a pack expires are lost.
  • Projects and their clips are kept for a period after processing that depends on your plan, shown on the Pricing page, and are then deleted unless you save them to your plan's storage. Saved projects are kept while they fit your plan's storage. Download any clips you want to keep. Minutes used on a deleted project are not returned.
  • Clips made on the Free plan may include a ClipSnitch watermark, and posting clips directly to connected YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or LinkedIn accounts is available on paid plans.
  • Paid plans renew each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it sells paid plans and minute packs to you, processes the payment, and handles taxes, invoices and receipts. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase. ClipSnitch never receives or stores your card details.
  • We will give at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to an existing paid plan, and it will take effect from your next billing period.
  • Invite a friend: when someone signs up with your invite link, confirms their email and finishes their first project, you and they each get bonus minutes (the amount is shown in Settings). Bonus minutes work like a minute pack: valid for 12 months and used after your plan's minutes. They have no cash value and can't be transferred. Rewards are limited per month, one per new account, and never for inviting yourself; we may withhold or remove bonus minutes obtained through fake or duplicate accounts, and may change or end the programme, without affecting minutes already given.

You can request a full refund of any payment within 14 days, with no conditions, as described in our Refund Policy.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using ClipSnitch at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting hello@clipsnitch.com. We may suspend or end access to the service if these terms are breached, if required by law, or to protect the security of the service or its users, and will give notice where reasonably possible.

When an account is closed, its content is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Content already published to YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or LinkedIn remains on those platforms and can be managed there.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they were last changed, and we will let you know about significant changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use ClipSnitch after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia, and disputes will be handled by the courts of Saudi Arabia. This does not affect any mandatory rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

16. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@clipsnitch.com, or by post to Mahad Asif, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
